Tabisu
TaBiSu
Tableware. Biowaste. Sustainability.
Tabisu is a sustainable tableware set that consists of 8 pieces: a placemat, coaster, cutlery rest, napkin ring for individual use and a menu holder, reserved sign, presentation tray and bill tray for general use.
The complete set is made of biowaste (by-products of
creating a meal; onion skin, peels, shells, gone bad herbs/etc. So far, they just get discarded.)
The biowaste is not only a source of material, but is also a source of inspiration. The design of this set consisting of 8 pieces, are based on and inspired by the natural and organic shapes.
The natural colors are defined by the used biowaste. In this set, there are 6 main colors.
Colors: Orange, blue, white, black, green and red.
Used biowaste: orange peels, mussel shells, egg shells, used coffee grounds, herbs, onion skin and beetroot.
